BootcampGuide lists CA courses from several of these institutes, but we do not run coaching ourselves, no institute paid to be included, and none saw this article before it was published. The best CA coaching in India starts with ICAI's own classes, which most coaching guides never mention: its Board of Studies runs a live and recorded Intermediate course for ₹1,000 a group (₹2,000 for both), live virtual classes for Foundation with no fee in the announcement, and mock test papers. Among private institutes, PW CA is the cheapest online course at its current sale prices (Foundation from ₹1,500, Intermediate both groups ₹15,999 to ₹21,999), Ultimate CA, Swapnil Patni Classes and Vsmart Academy charge ₹37,000 to ₹58,499 online for Intermediate, and J.K. Shah Classes has the widest classroom network, with CA taught at branches in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi and Hyderabad.

Choosing well matters because the exams are hard: 18.93% passed CA Foundation in September 2026, 13.21% passed both Intermediate groups the same month, and 14.07% passed both Final groups in May 2026. But no coaching institute is endorsed by ICAI, and every "best CA coaching" list ranking on Google today was written by an institute or is a decade-old directory.

Key takeaway: ICAI says that "no college/educational institution/organization is in partnership with ICAI", and that colleges claiming ICAI accreditation have been granted none. Treat any coaching institute's claim of ICAI approval with suspicion, and look at what ICAI itself offers before you pay ₹40,000 or more.

Best CA coaching in India: 15 options compared

Published fees, read on each provider's own pages. None of the private institutes says whether its fee includes GST. You can compare the CA coaching and classes we list by level, mode and city.

PW's figures are its "limited time offer" prices on 8 November 2026 (struck-through prices are roughly double). Fees for Ultimate CA, Swapnil Patni, Vsmart, Aldine, ArivuPro, J.K. Shah and PSP were read on 7 November 2026, the rest on 8 November.

ICAI's own CA classes: the option guides leave out

ICAI's Board of Studies teaches the CA course itself, online, through its BoS Knowledge Portal. You log in with your ICAI registration number. What it runs for the current exam cycles:

ICAI's revision test papers and model test papers are on the same portal, and the Foundation registration fee of ₹9,000 already includes the study material. For an Intermediate student, ICAI's own batch costs ₹2,000 for both groups, against ₹37,000 to ₹95,922 at the private institutes above. It is taught by practising CAs named in ICAI's schedules. What it does not give you is a classroom, a fixed peer group or an institute's own test series.

Is any coaching institute approved by ICAI?

Only colleges, and only for oral coaching. ICAI's public notice of 18 October 2016 says some colleges "are portraying themselves that they have been accredited with the ICAI", although "neither have they taken permission from ICAI nor ICAI has granted them any accreditation", and that "no college/educational institution/organization is in partnership with ICAI". It adds that ICAI has accredited "some educational institutions" to run oral coaching classes for the CA course, listed on its Board of Studies portal. None of the private coaching brands in this article is among them. An institute's AIR claims, branch counts and "best in India" labels are its own.

The best CA coaching for you, by need

• Best value: ICAI's Board of Studies. ₹2,000 for both Intermediate groups, Foundation live classes, and mock tests in December. Use it as your main course if you study well online, or alongside a private course.
• Cheapest private online course: PW CA. Foundation and Intermediate both groups together cost ₹17,499 to ₹30,998 at its 8 November sale prices. Its page lists faculty with their own ranks, such as CA Nitin Goel (AIR 9 in Final, AIR 7 in Intermediate).
• Best online Intermediate from a Pune faculty team: Ultimate CA or Swapnil Patni Classes. Ultimate CA charges ₹37,000 for both groups, live or recorded, with the same faculty as Swapnil Patni Classes, whose online course costs ₹44,999.
• Best classroom coaching in Pune: Swapnil Patni Classes or Unique Academy. Swapnil Patni's face-to-face Foundation costs ₹60,000 and Intermediate ₹95,922; Unique Academy's face-to-face Foundation costs ₹29,500 and it runs a free online Foundation batch.
• Most classroom cities: J.K. Shah Classes. Its branch list shows CA at 11 branches in Mumbai and about 20 each in Bengaluru and Chennai, plus Ahmedabad, Delhi and Hyderabad. Foundation costs ₹47,200.
• Cheapest recorded course: ArivuPro Academy. ₹4,000 for its Foundation or Intermediate recorded bundle, ₹1,250 a paper.

How we compared CA coaching

We started with ICAI's own provision, then read the CA pages of every institute named in the pages ranking for "best CA coaching in India", plus the CA institutes BootcampGuide lists. For each we recorded the published fee by level, the mode, the classroom areas, named faculty and any rank they state, and validity terms. We did not rank institutes on their own AIR counts or "students mentored" figures, because no one can check them and ICAI does not publish results by institute.

The pages ranking for this search are an institute's own top-10 list that puts itself first (ArivuPro Academy), a 2016 city directory updated this year that still links an "IPCC" guide (SAG Infotech), and five institutes' own home pages, two of which call themselves the best or number one. None compares fees across institutes or mentions ICAI's classes.

Every institute, reviewed

PW CA

Online batches for every level at low prices: CA Foundation from ₹1,500 (a fast-track batch) to ₹8,999 (its Infinity batch for May 2027), Intermediate both groups from ₹15,999 to ₹21,999, and Final from ₹4,499 a paper or ₹12,999 for Group I, with unlimited views on its all-in-one plans. The prices are offers, roughly half the struck-through price, so they may change. PW names its faculty with their own ranks: CA Nitin Goel (AIR 9 Final, AIR 7 Intermediate, AIR 9 Foundation), CA Rohit Chipper (AIR 17 Final) and CA Hemant Somani (AIR 46 Final). It also runs CA offline centres at Laxmi Nagar in Delhi and Bapu Nagar in Jaipur.

Ultimate CA

Foundation ₹14,999 to ₹20,999 for all four papers; Intermediate ₹21,000 for Group I, ₹22,000 for Group II and ₹37,000 for both, with live and recorded at the same price, 12 months and three views. The faculty, including CA Swapnil Patni, CA Pranav Popat and CA Deepika Rathi, are the same as at Swapnil Patni Classes. It sells no Final courses.

Swapnil Patni Classes

Pune's best-known CA classroom. Foundation costs ₹15,000 to ₹21,000 online, ₹60,000 face to face in Pune and ₹1,40,000 for its residential Gurukul with food and stay; Intermediate costs ₹24,999 (Group I), ₹22,999 (Group II) or ₹44,999 (both) online and ₹95,922 face to face. Final is sold per paper, ₹2,999 to ₹12,990. Its core team lists CA Swapnil Patni with 17 years of teaching.

Vsmart Academy

Foundation recorded ₹17,999 to ₹18,499; Intermediate ₹28,999 (Group I), ₹25,499 (Group II) or ₹54,499 to ₹58,499 for both groups as a live-stream batch; Final Group I ₹22,999 and Group II ₹11,999 to ₹18,999. Two of its earlier combo pages now return "product not found", so check the current batch before paying.

Aldine CA

Foundation live at home ₹19,500, shown against ₹25,000; Intermediate Group I combo ₹21,744 against ₹36,240, and single papers ₹7,200 to ₹13,500; Final per paper ₹9,900 to ₹14,190. Mostly sold as live-at-home and recorded courses with 12-month validity.

ArivuPro Academy

Recorded bundles at ₹4,000 for Foundation or Intermediate, ₹1,250 a paper, and ₹1,800 a paper for Final, the cheapest paid recorded courses here. Its Chennai and Bengaluru classrooms do not publish a fee. Its own "top 10 CA coaching" list ranks ArivuPro first.

J.K. Shah Classes

Foundation ₹47,200 (struck-through ₹50,000), with fees for other levels "by batch type" on enquiry. Its branch data shows CA at branches across Mumbai and Thane, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi (Laxmi Nagar, Pitampura) and Hyderabad, many of them inside colleges, but none in Lucknow, Indore, Jaipur or Kolkata. Its home page gives four different branch counts, from 35+ to 148.

Vidya Sagar Institute (VSI), Jaipur

Classroom coaching at seven Jaipur centres, including Durgapura, Pratap Nagar and Vaishali Nagar. Its FAQ quotes ₹58,000 for Foundation, ₹1,00,000 for Intermediate in a lump sum or ₹1,05,000 in instalments, and ₹85,000 to ₹1,00,000 for Final. It claims nine AIR 1s in 15 years.

IGP Institute, Delhi

Face to face, live and drive classes at Janakpuri, Rohini and Laxmi Nagar. Intermediate Group I combo ₹30,000 and Group II ₹46,000, with single subjects from ₹8,000. It claims "10 times AIR 1" over 26 years.

Unique Academy, KS Academy, Yeshas, CMS and PSP

• Unique Academy for Commerce, Pune: face-to-face Foundation ₹29,500 at Shukrawar Peth, and a free online and face-to-face Foundation batch for January 2027. Its official site is uniqueacademyforcommerce.com; an older domain with a similar name now hosts an unrelated betting site.
• KS Academy: classrooms in Chennai (West Mambalam, Tambaram), Coimbatore, Trichy, Bengaluru (Malleshwaram) and Hyderabad (Ameerpet); no fee published.
• Yeshas Academy, Bengaluru: classrooms at Jayanagar and Seshadripuram; Final recorded courses at ₹8,000 to ₹11,800 a paper.
• CMS for CA, Hyderabad: ten branches including SR Nagar, Secunderabad, Dilsukhnagar and KPHB, with residential options; no fee published.
• PSP Educate India: Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Anand; no fee published, EMI from ₹10,000.

CA coaching and classes by city

• Best CA coaching in Delhi: IGP for a classroom in west, north-west or east Delhi; PW CA at Laxmi Nagar for a lower fee; or J.K. Shah at Laxmi Nagar and Pitampura.
• CA coaching in Lucknow: Toppers Institute in Gomti Nagar was the only classroom institute we could confirm on its own site; most Lucknow students take online courses.
• CA coaching in Indore: Nahata Professional Academy in New Siyaganj; its fee is not published.
• Best CA coaching in Bangalore: KS Academy at Malleshwaram or Yeshas Academy at Jayanagar for a classroom, or J.K. Shah's college-based branches.
• CA coaching centres in Chennai: KS Academy and J.K. Shah, which has about 20 Chennai branches, including one opposite ICAI Bhawan in Nungambakkam.

Online or classroom CA coaching?

Online costs a quarter to a half as much for the same teachers. At Swapnil Patni Classes, Foundation is ₹15,000 online against ₹60,000 face to face, and Intermediate both groups ₹44,999 against ₹95,922. Ultimate CA charges the same for live and recorded. A classroom earns its price if you need a fixed timetable or are moving to a coaching city anyway, but the rent and food in Pune or Delhi can cost more than the course. For Final, most students buy per paper, often recorded, because they are in or just out of articleship.

CA pass rates, and what they mean for coaching

ICAI does not publish results by coaching institute, so every institute's rank claim is its own. Low pass rates mean many students repeat a level; ICAI's re-attempt fee is only ₹1,500 to ₹3,300, but buying a second private course is the real cost. That is a reason to buy group by group and to start with ICAI's own classes.

What CA coaching adds to the total cost

ICAI's own fees for the whole course, through the Foundation route with one attempt at each level, are ₹84,500, as our CA course fees guide breaks down. Coaching adds anything from about ₹2,000 for ICAI's Intermediate batch to about ₹2 lakh for classroom coaching in Pune, and the articleship stipend pays back ₹60,000 to ₹1,08,000 over two years. Checklist before you pay for CA coaching

1. Try ICAI's own live classes and mock tests first; they cost little or nothing and show you what you need help with.
2. Ask whether the fee includes 18% GST, how long the course stays valid and how many views you get.
3. Check that the batch matches your exam attempt: Foundation and Intermediate run in January, May and September; Final in May and November.
4. Buy Intermediate and Final group by group, so you can change faculty after a result.
5. Ignore claims of ICAI accreditation or partnership from a private institute; ICAI says it has none.
6. Type the institute's web address yourself: at least one old CA coaching domain now redirects to an unrelated site.

What we could not check

Unacademy's CA pages returned errors on 8 November 2026 and YES Academy's site showed placeholder text, so neither is in the table. We could not confirm a Kolkata classroom institute on its own website. KS Academy, CMS for CA, PSP Educate India and Nahata Professional Academy publish no fees, and we do not quote second-hand ones.
