BootcampGuide lists CFA courses from several of these institutes, but we do not run coaching ourselves, no institute paid to be included or ranked, and none saw this article before it was published. The best CFA coaching in India depends on how you study and where you live. On verified fees and credentials, Aswini Bajaj Classes is the cheapest full course (₹17,001 for Level 1, self-paced, GST included), FinTree in Pune and The WallStreet School in Delhi and Mumbai name a CFA charterholder as their lead teacher, QuintEdge has the lowest live online price with GST included across all three levels (₹33,000 to ₹35,000), and IMS Proschool has classrooms in the most cities, 11. Live Level 1 coaching costs ₹32,000 to ₹39,000 at Fintelligents, QuintEdge and The WallStreet School; recorded courses start at ₹17,001.

We compared nine institutes on what can be checked: the published fee and whether it includes GST, the levels covered, the mode and cities, the named lead faculty, and whether the institute says it is a CFA Institute Prep Provider. We did not rank anyone on pass rates, for a reason CFA Institute itself gives: its Prep Providers are forbidden from quoting them.

Key takeaway: Every "best CFA coaching" list we could read on Google's first page was written by a coaching institute, and each one puts itself first. Treat any ranking that does not say who wrote it, and any "88%" or "91%" pass rate, as advertising.

Best CFA coaching in India: 9 institutes compared

The published Level 1 fee, read on each institute's own CFA page on 7 or 8 November 2026. You can compare the CFA coaching and classes we list by city, mode and next batch.

"Says it is a Prep Provider" means the claim appears on the institute's own site; we could not check it against CFA Institute's searchable list, which loads in a way we could not read. Search each name there before paying. "No claim found" means we did not find the claim in the text of its CFA pages, not that it is false.

The best CFA coaching for you, by need

• Best value overall: Aswini Bajaj Classes. ₹17,001 for Level 1 (350 hours) and ₹19,001 each for Levels 2 and 3, GST included, with validity "until you clear your exam" and 10 views per lecture. It is recorded only, with one mentor, so it suits disciplined self-studiers.
• Best classroom coaching in Pune: FinTree. A CFA, FRM and CFP charterholder, Utkarsh Jain, says he teaches every batch, and FinTree calls itself a CFA Institute Approved Prep Provider. It prices by exam attempt, so committing early is cheaper, and offers 3-month no-cost EMI.
• Best classroom coaching in Delhi and Mumbai: The WallStreet School. 150+ hours of live teaching plus 120+ hours recorded for ₹39,000 + GST, with a CA and CFA charterholder instructor named on the page. Classrooms at Connaught Place in Delhi and Andheri East in Mumbai.
• Best live online price, all three levels: QuintEdge. ₹33,000, ₹34,000 and ₹35,000 for live Levels 1, 2 and 3, GST included, and EMI. Its lead faculty is a CA and FRM rather than a CFA charterholder.
• Most cities: IMS Proschool. Classrooms in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Surat, no-cost EMI over 3, 6 or 9 months, and a Pass Commitment that re-enrols you free if you meet its conditions.
• Cheapest live online Level 1: Fintelligents. ₹32,000 live with 220+ hours of recordings, or ₹22,000 recorded. It has no Level 2 course on sale.

How we compared CFA coaching institutes

We started from the institutes that come up in Google India's results for "best CFA coaching in India" and in the comparison pages that rank there, then read each institute's own CFA pages. An institute made the table only if we could read its page directly. We compared six things a student can check before paying:

1. Published fee per level, and whether the page says GST is included. An 18% difference changes the order.
2. Teaching hours and format: live, classroom or recorded, and how long recordings stay available.
3. Levels covered with a published price, since a Level 2 or 3 student needs more than a Level 1 course.
4. Classroom cities, with the area where the page gives it.
5. A named lead faculty and their stated credential. CFA Institute requires every one of its Prep Providers to use CFA charterholder tutors.
6. A CFA Institute Prep Provider claim, and EMI or guarantee terms.

We did not use pass rates, reviews on the institutes' own sites, or "students trained" counts, because none can be checked. Five of the pages ranking for this search were written by QuintEdge, RBei Classes, The WallStreet School, Nesto Institute and IMS Proschool, and each puts itself first or names only itself. One of them lists nine "competitors" with no links, cities, fees or faculty. BootcampGuide lists courses from several institutes here but does not sell coaching, and no institute paid for its place.

Every institute, reviewed

Aswini Bajaj Classes: the cheapest full course

• Fees: Level 1 ₹17,001 (350 hours), Level 2 ₹19,001 (200 hours), Level 3 ₹19,001 (180 hours), "Inclusive of GST". Separate Ethics (₹3,500) and Level 3 Pathways (₹5,500) modules.
• Format: self-paced recorded lectures in English and Hindi, one mentor, 10 views per lecture, validity until you clear the exam (terms apply). No live or classroom batch is advertised. Based at Chowringhee Road, Kolkata.
• Faculty: Aswini Bajaj, who lists CA, CS, CFA and FRM among 13 qualifications. The page does not use the word charterholder.
• Prep Provider: its homepage shows a "CFA Institute Prep Provider" banner.
• Good to know: at about half the price of most live courses, it is the obvious choice for self-studiers. It is not a substitute for live doubt-solving if you need it.

FinTree: classroom in Pune, charterholder-led

• Fees: Level 1 from ₹34,900 (self-paced Essential) to ₹64,900 (Pune classroom) for a February 2027 attempt, rising by ₹5,000 for each later attempt, to ₹79,900 for November 2027. Level 2 ₹51,000 to ₹75,000; Level 3 ₹36,000 to ₹72,000. The plan cards do not say whether GST is included.
• Format: classroom at Bhoslenagar, Pune; "Live School" online; Home School and Essential self-paced plans. Classroom and live plans include 7 full mocks and weekly tests. Its page puts Level 1 study at 10 to 12 months.
• Faculty: Utkarsh Jain, "Chartered Accountant · CFA Charterholder · FRM Charterholder · CFP Charterholder", who the page says teaches every batch personally.
• Prep Provider: calls itself a "CFA Institute Approved Prep Provider", the tier CFA Institute gives partners of at least five years.
• EMI: 3-month no-cost EMI with major banks.

The WallStreet School: classrooms in Delhi and Mumbai

• Fees: Level 1 ₹39,000 + GST for classroom or live online (₹46,020 with GST), ₹55,000 + GST for a weekday and weekend combo, ₹29,500 + GST pre-recorded. Level 2 ₹41,000 + GST. No Level 3 price on its pages.
• Format: 150+ hours of live teaching and 120+ hours recorded for Level 1, unlimited mocks and question bank. Classrooms at Connaught Place, Delhi and Andheri East, Mumbai; live online batches for other cities.
• Faculty: CA Karan Singh, "CA & CFA Charterholder", 10+ years.
• Good to know: its blog advertises a "91%" success rate and quotes Level 1 exam fees of USD 1,090 and 1,390; CFA Institute's current fees are USD 1,140 and 1,490.

QuintEdge: lowest live price with GST included

• Fees: live ₹33,000, ₹34,000 and ₹35,000 for Levels 1, 2 and 3; self-paced ₹27,000, ₹29,000 and ₹31,000. CFA plus Financial Modelling bundles cost ₹65,000 (Level 1) and ₹67,000 (Level 2) live. "GST included. EMI options available."
• Format: live online and classrooms at West Patel Nagar, New Delhi and Andheri West, Mumbai. Its page cites 250+ hours of live instruction, 3,000+ practice questions and 6 full mocks.
• Faculty: founder and lead faculty Yash Jain is listed as "CA, FRM"; another faculty member, Sudhanshu Kanwar, is listed as "CFA · FRM · CQF".
• Good to know: it advertises an "88%" first-attempt Level 1 pass rate. CFA Institute does not verify any provider's pass rates.

IMS Proschool: the most cities

• Fees: CFA prep ₹25,000 to ₹65,000; CFA plus Financial Modelling ₹95,000. GST not stated. The CFA Institute fee is paid separately, in US dollars.
• Format: classroom or live online; 200+ hours of Level 1 sessions, a 2,500+ question bank and 5 mocks, on a 36-week plan.
• Classrooms: Mumbai, Shivajinagar (Pune), Delhi, Chintal (Hyderabad), Bengaluru, Mylapore (Chennai), Kadavanthara (Kochi), Hungerford Street (Kolkata), Hazratganj (Lucknow), Vastrapur (Ahmedabad) and Vesu (Surat).
• Faculty: four faculty are listed with a "CFA" suffix; the page does not say charterholder.
• Guarantee and EMI: no-cost EMI over 3, 6 or 9 months. Its Pass Commitment re-enrols you in the next cohort at no extra tuition if you attended, finished the question bank and sat every mock; you still pay CFA Institute again.

Fintelligents: budget live online Level 1

• Fees: Level 1 live online ₹32,000 (struck-through ₹38,000), recorded ₹22,000 (struck-through ₹28,000), and a ₹10,000 question-bank package. GST not stated. No Level 2 course on sale.
• Format: live classes in weekday and weekend batches, 220+ hours of recordings for a year, a 2,000+ question bank and 3 mocks, plus registration and scholarship guidance.
• Good to know: its page lists CFA Level 2 and 3 exam fees of USD 1,090 and 1,390, which are out of date.

J.K. Shah Classes

₹46,000 (struck-through ₹55,000) for a CFA course with live sessions, recorded lectures, printed study material and a test series; the page does not say which levels the fee covers or whether GST is included, so ask before paying. Its faculty are described as "CFA Qualified Expert Faculty", without names. Based in Andheri East, Mumbai.

FPA Edutech

No coaching fee is published. Classroom at Borivali West, Mumbai, and online classes. Its CFA page names Jeetendar Peswani as a CFA charterholder who worked at Morningstar. Its CFA page quotes CFA exam fees of USD 940 to 1,250 per level, below CFA Institute's current USD 1,140 to 1,590.

VG Learning Destination

No coaching fee is published. Recorded lectures in 30 to 45-minute videos, 1,000 practice questions, mocks and lifetime access for each level, with Kaplan content mentioned in its FAQ. No faculty named. Its CFA page still shows 2025 exam fees and the abolished USD 350 enrollment fee.

CFA Level 2 and Level 3 coaching compared

Most institutes publish only a Level 1 price. These are the published prices for the later levels:

All three levels at QuintEdge cost ₹1,02,000 live, and at Aswini Bajaj ₹55,003 recorded. Level 3 runs only in February and August, so choose a course whose batch finishes before the window you register for.

CFA coaching and classes by city

CFA Institute's exam fees are the same in every city, and so are most coaching fees: QuintEdge and The WallStreet School charge the same for live online as for their classrooms. The city decides only which classrooms you can attend.

• Best CFA coaching in Mumbai: The WallStreet School or QuintEdge for a classroom with live online backup; FPA Edutech if you live in the western suburbs and want a charterholder mentor.
• Best CFA coaching in Delhi: The WallStreet School at Connaught Place, with a named charterholder instructor, or QuintEdge at West Patel Nagar for a lower fee with GST included.
• Best CFA classes in Pune: FinTree, the only charterholder-led classroom we found in the city.
• Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Kolkata: IMS Proschool is the only classroom option among these institutes; QuintEdge's page also mentions Bengaluru, but gives campus addresses only for Delhi and Mumbai.

CFA online coaching or classroom?

Online costs the same or less, and for most candidates it is the better choice. CFA candidates are usually in their final year of college or working, and recorded lectures fit around both. At QuintEdge and The WallStreet School the live online price equals the classroom price; recorded versions save ₹6,000 to ₹10,000 a level. Choose a classroom if you need a fixed timetable to keep studying, or want to ask questions in person. Check how long recordings stay available, from one year at Fintelligents to "until you clear" at Aswini Bajaj.

What "CFA Institute Prep Provider" means, and how to check

CFA Institute runs a Prep Provider Program for coaching companies that agree to its guidelines. Its own page says:

• All CFA Institute Prep Providers use CFA charterholder tutors and update their materials every year.
• Providers partnered with CFA Institute for at least five years are called CFA Institute Approved Prep Providers from 2026.
• "If the provider you're considering is not listed, they are NOT a CFA Institute Prep Provider." Its searchable list showed 55 providers worldwide on 8 November 2026.
• CFA Institute "does not endorse" any provider, and does not verify pass rates or other claims they make.

CFA Institute also publishes ten questions to ask a provider. The most useful ones:

1. "What is your pass rate?" Its Prep Providers are forbidden from answering, because a provider can cherry-pick its best candidates. An institute that advertises one is telling you something about its marketing, not its results.
2. How many hours does the course cover? CFA Institute warns against any number below 300 hours per level.
3. Who teaches, and where are their biographies? Every Prep Provider publishes them.
4. Are the question counts the provider's own? Totals should not include CFA Institute's own questions and mocks, which come free with registration.
5. Does the site use the CFA Institute logo? No prep provider is allowed to.

Why to ignore advertised CFA pass rates

CFA Institute's own averages for 2017 to 2026 are 40% for Level 1, 45% for Level 2 and 50% for Level 3. Coaching pages in India advertise 88% and 91%. CFA Institute does not publish pass rates by provider and does not verify those claims, so they cannot be compared with each other or with the official figures. Look instead at what predicts results for you: enough hours, enough mocks in the exam's format, a teacher whose credentials you can check, and recordings you can rewatch.

Do you need CFA coaching at all?

Not necessarily. CFA Institute's registration fee already includes the full curriculum, 1,000+ practice questions, two official mock exams, a study planner and flashcards. Many candidates pass with those plus a cheap recorded course or a question bank. Coaching earns its cost when you need structure, live doubt-solving or Indian-context teaching, which is why most first-time Level 1 candidates in India buy at least a recorded course. The registration fee is the bigger bill: USD 1,140 to 1,590 a level, about ₹1.28 lakh to ₹1.79 lakh with GST, as our CFA course fees guide breaks down.

What CFA coaching adds to the total cost

For all three levels, coaching adds ₹55,003 (Aswini Bajaj, recorded) to about ₹2.27 lakh (FinTree classroom and live plans for later attempts) to CFA Institute's ₹3.96 lakh to ₹5.14 lakh. A first-attempt pass at every level with live online coaching from QuintEdge comes to about ₹4.98 lakh in all. Institutes we could not verify

Several well-known names are missing from the table because we could not read their fees on their own sites on 7 and 8 November 2026: Zell Education and Kaplan Schweser blocked automated reads, EduPristine's site was down, and we did not reach IFT, Sanjay Saraf Educational Institute or RBei Classes in time; RBei publishes its fee only "on request". We do not quote fees for any of them from other institutes' pages, because those figures were often out of date. We will add them once we can check their own pages.

Checklist before you pay for CFA coaching

1. Ask whether the fee includes 18% GST. On ₹39,000 that is ₹7,020.
2. Ask which levels the fee covers, and for how long you can watch the recordings.
3. Find the named lead faculty and their credential, and search the institute on CFA Institute's Prep Provider list.
4. Count the institute's own mock exams, separate from CFA Institute's two.
5. Read the guarantee's conditions: a "pass assurance" is usually free re-enrolment, not a refund, and CFA Institute's fee is never covered.
6. Pay for one level at a time, so you can switch after a result.
