By Deepak Sharma, BootcampGuide. Every figure below was read off the institutes' own course pages between 19 September and 7 October 2026, across 85 programmes at 16 institutes. See methodology.

What we found

  • Only 49% of bootcamp programmes in India publish both a price and a start date. The other half cannot be compared without first talking to someone.
  • 21% publish no fee at all — 18 of 85 programmes. IIDE and Craw Security publish no fee on any of their courses.
  • 35% publish no start date, including every course at upGrad, Coding Ninjas, GeeksforGeeks, AccioJob and Imarticus Learning.
  • The median programme costs ₹85,000, with the middle half falling between ₹54,000 and ₹140,000.
  • Normalised per month of tuition, fees run from ₹4,000 to ₹49,667 — a 12x spread for programmes that broadly promise the same thing: a job in tech.

Half the market will not tell you the price

This is the finding that surprised us most, and it is the one worth sitting with before any individual number.

Of 85 programmes, 67 publish a fee and 55 publish a start date. Only 42 publish both. That means for roughly half the bootcamp market in India, a prospective student cannot answer the two most basic questions — what does it cost, and when does it start — without handing over a phone number and entering a sales process.

That is not an accident of web design. A fee that is withheld is a fee that can be quoted differently to different people, and a start date that is withheld is a date that can always be "the next batch, starting soon". Both make price comparison harder, which is the point.

IIDE and Craw Security publish no fee on any course we found. upGrad, Coding Ninjas, GeeksforGeeks, AccioJob and Imarticus Learning publish no start date on any course. In each case the programmes are real and enrolling — the information simply is not on the page.

What the published fees actually say

Among the 67 programmes that do publish a fee, the median is ₹85,000. The cheapest is ₹12,900 and the dearest ₹399,000. The middle half sits between ₹54,000 and ₹140,000.

We would caution against reading the ₹12,900–₹399,000 range as a 31x price difference for the same product. It is not. The bottom of that range is self-paced video with job assistance; the top is a twelve-month live programme with mentorship and placement support. They are different things sold to different people.

Scaler's range is flat because its five listed programmes share a single published fee. Where a fee range is wide, it usually reflects a mix of self-paced and live formats within the same institute rather than disagreement about what a month of teaching is worth.

The honest comparison: cost per month of tuition

Total fee is a poor way to compare a two-month certificate against an eighteen-month programme. Dividing the fee by the stated duration is cruder but fairer, and it is where the real spread shows up. We could compute this for 65 of the 85 programmes — the rest do not state a duration precisely enough.

The median is ₹12,143 per month of tuition. The range runs from ₹4,000 to ₹49,667: a 12x difference.

A 12x spread per month is harder to explain away than a wide total-fee range. Classroom DSA teaching in Noida at roughly ₹4,000 a month and an executive programme at ₹49,667 a month are not separated by 12x of teaching. They are separated by brand, by co-branding with an IIT or an IIM, and by who the programme is sold to — a student paying for themselves, or a working professional whose employer may reimburse.

How to use this

Three things follow from the data, for anyone choosing a programme:

  • Treat a withheld fee as information. An institute that publishes its price is competing on price. One that does not has decided it would rather quote you.
  • Divide by the months before comparing. A ₹150,000 programme over twelve months is cheaper per month of teaching than a ₹100,000 programme over three.
  • Ask what the co-brand buys. An IIT or IIM name in the title reliably raises the price. Whether it raises the teaching, the cohort or the hiring outcome is a separate question, and one the institute should be able to answer specifically.

Methodology

Figures were read off each institute's own public course pages, not from brochures, sales calls or third-party aggregators. Institute and course details were captured on 19 September 2026 and every batch date was re-verified against the live course page on 7 October 2026. Each course listing on this site carries the source URL it came from.

Where an institute publishes no fee or no date, we record that as absent rather than estimating it. No figure on this page is inferred, converted or filled in. Where a page quoted a fee in a currency other than rupees because of geographic pricing, we excluded it rather than convert it.

Fees are as published and may exclude GST where the institute presents them that way; we note this on individual course pages rather than silently normalising. Durations are as stated by the institute, and ranges such as "6 to 8 months" are taken at their midpoint for the per-month calculation. Per-month figures cover the 65 programmes with a precise enough stated duration.

Programmes whose source pages have since gone offline are removed rather than carried forward on stale data. 85 programmes at 16 institutes met that bar on the date of publication.

Using this data

The full dataset is published openly on GitHub — bootcamp-fees-india — as CSV and JSON under a CC BY 4.0 licence, one row per programme, each carrying the source URL it was read from. It is updated monthly.

The underlying figures are free to reuse, including commercially, with attribution to BootcampGuide and a link to this page. If you are writing about bootcamp pricing in India and want the data in a different cut — by city, by format, by subject — the per-course figures are published on this site, each with its source.

If you run one of the institutes listed here and a figure is wrong, we would rather fix it than defend it. Every course page carries the source URL we read, which makes disagreements quick to settle.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a coding bootcamp cost in India?

The median published fee across 85 programmes at 16 institutes is ₹85,000, with the middle half between ₹54,000 and ₹1,40,000. Fees run from ₹12,900 for self-paced courses to ₹3,99,000 for long live programmes. Normalised per month of tuition the median is ₹12,143.

Why do so few bootcamps publish their fees?

Only 49% of the 85 programmes we checked publish both a fee and a start date. 21% publish no fee at all. A withheld fee can be quoted differently to different buyers, which makes price comparison harder — that is generally the reason it is withheld.

Which Indian bootcamps do not publish a price?

IIDE and Craw Security publish no fee on any course we found. Several others withhold fees on some courses, including Intellipaat (4 of 7) and Coding Ninjas (3 of 5). In every case the programmes are real and enrolling; the price simply is not on the page.

Is an IIT or IIM co-branded bootcamp worth the extra cost?

Co-branded programmes carry a reliably higher median fee than those without an institutional name. Whether the co-brand improves the teaching, the cohort or the hiring outcome is a separate question, and one the institute should be able to answer specifically rather than by reference to the brand.

How should I compare bootcamp fees fairly?

Divide the fee by the stated duration. Total fee is misleading when comparing a two-month certificate against an eighteen-month programme. Per month of tuition, fees across the programmes we could measure run from about ₹4,000 to ₹49,667 — a 12x spread.
